• Performance Tune-Ups for not so new PC's:  Optimize running start-up programs and services to achieve quicker start-up and better utilization of your precious memory.  Check and repair the Windows registry for errors.  Clean out all junk and temporary files, and with your permission, install a small free program that will continue to keep your hard drive clean each time you restart your computer

• Diagnose hardware issues:  Driver / Errors / etc. Update hardware drivers as available from your OEM.

• Diagnose why your computer Runs Slowly, often crashing or hanging

• Check your PC for Viruses / Trojans / Worms / Rootkits /Spyware & Malware and clean as necessary

• Perform all Windows and software updates and perform regular maintenance

• Optimize file locations for efficient backups, and implement a backup plan to keep your important files safe and secure.

• All payments for services are billed via PayPal.  You can pay with your secure PayPal account or most major credit cards. NOTE: A PayPal account is NOT needed to send a payment to my PayPal account.

• 2 PC Geeks will provide you with a mini application that will allow a secure, remote desktop connection.  Once the program is launched, you will need to provide us with your User ID and password so that we can initiate a one time remote connection.  Upon termination of the session, no one can access your computer again, unless you provide your User ID and NEW password.  This is completely controlled by you and is exceptionally safe.

• You must have a high-speed broadband connection, either DSL, cable or FIOS.  Connections via a phone line are not efficient nor cost effective.

• We can connect to and diagnose the following operating systems:

           *  Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 Beta

           *  Mac OS 10.4.xx (Tiger) or OS 10.5.xx (Leopard)

• This is a very secure connection.  YOU are in complete control!  If you chose to, you can watch all technician initiated mouse and keyboard activity, and can cancel/close the connection at any time.

• Initial consultation and a minimum labor charge of $29.95, covers the cost of the first half-hour of labor.

This service includes up to 3 hours of  labor to restore your PC to good health. Additional time may be required for severely infected PCs.

Our Mac services include pairing down the number of start-up programs and services (daemons), manually running the daily, weekly and monthly UNIX cleanup scripts, installation of a top-rated free Antivirus program (hey, because you never know) and installation of all security and software updates.
